What was the highlight of Hotel Resol Hakodate
Older style hotel offers very comfortable and convenient stay at reasonable rates.
Great location. Free early check in and nice welcome. Comfortable room, soft pillows, fridge, access to microwave, free tea and coffee in lounge as well as room. No daily cleaning but fresh towels and water each day was quite sufficient. Cocktail bar was good.
Internet was a bit weak at times.

Enjoyable to Warrant Future Consideration.
Breakfast was served Buffet style with a good spread of varieties. Situated atop the hotel, the dinning experience was further enhanced with a city and mountainous view.

Quality amenities and location
They provided free water bottles each night in your room which is great for traveling in Japan. Breakfast was high quality and many options included. Check out was simple and quick. Location is second to none across the street from Hakodate Station and Kiralis (which has a fantastic conveyer belt sushi place in the basement) and it is in front of the tram station.
No true complaints, but the laundry machines don't include laundry detergent as far as I could tell.
